Taapsee Pannu, after acting in Hindi and Telugu movies in the main over the years, has now become a producer. She has launched a production house named Outsiders Films. Her first film as a producer will be a thriller in which she will be the protagonist.

Making the announcement on Thursday, the 'Haseen Dillruba' actress wrote, "Last year when it was almost a decade since I plunged into the dream the Indian film industry is, I never knew I will not just float but actually learn to swim my way through." She further said, "For someone who never dreamt of being a public figure, I am forever grateful to everyone who has bestowed so much love and trust in me and my work. Time for some payback, because with great power comes greater responsibility."

Outsiders Films has been launched in collaboration with Pranjal Khandhdiya of 'Super 30', '83' and 'Piku' fame. Taapsee said that Pranjal will be the banner's showrunner and she will be its boss. "Pranjal and I will be treading that thin line between friendship and business together," the 'Anando Brahma' actress said.

Taapsee will be seen in 'Mishan Impossible' in Telugu. Directed by Swaroop RSJ, the treasure hunt comedy is currently being shot.
