Her elusive answer to a question about wedding speculation in an interview with India Today was, "I have never given any clarification regarding my personal life, and I never will."

In the earlier Brides Today interview in January 2023, Taapsee revealed her idea of a dream wedding. She wished for a one-day affair in subtle, tasteful colors without any hoo-ha. There should be no late-night rituals and a simple celebration—this is what the actress emphasized.

Taapsee mentioned that she would like for her wedding, Taapsee said she would like to look natural with her hair and minimal makeup for her wedding. She said, "My heart feels bad when I see these brides who have so much makeup on—thick layers and then thicker layers. How do you enjoy looking at yourself when you’re a different person in those pictures? These memories are not for that moment, but for eternity. You don't want to look at those pictures and not be able to recognize yourself as yourself."
