Taapsee Pannu to be voice of Katie Sackhoff

Taapsee Pannu, who made her big Bollywood debut in David DhawanÂs ÂChashme BaddoorÂ, has added another feather to her cap, as she has been approached by PVR Pictures to dub for Katie Sackhoff in Vin DieselÂs ÂRiddickÂ, in 3 languages - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
PVR Pictures, the producers of Vin DieselÂs ÂRiddickÂ, were on the lookout for a voice that would resonate with the lead character, Katie Sackhoff.
This find has eventually stopped at Taapsee, as the producers are convinced that the actress can voice Katie with ease. Katie plays a Nordic Mercenary on a mission to track down Riddick, in the film.
Confirmed Taapsee, Yes, I have been approached by PVR to dub for RiddickÂs India Release in 3 languages Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. They have asked me to dub for Katie Sackhoff, who plays the female lead alongside Vin Diesel. This will be a first for me, hoping that I will be able to do it given the fact that I have a packed shoot schedule till end of this month.
Riddick releases in theatres across India on 6th September.
