Actress Taapsee Pannu has some really interesting films waiting to be released and one of them is the biographical drama 'Shabas Mithu'. Based on incredible and inspiring journey of Mitali Raj, one of the greatest female cricketers of all time, the film is a passion project for Taapsee Pannu. The actress recently took to Instagram to share a new poster and release date of the film.

The poster featured Taapsee in her character, playing a shot while sport iconic blue jersey of team India. It also featured a younger version of the character padded up and taking guard. Taapsee captioned the post as, "There is nothing more powerful than a girl with a dream and a plan to realise it! This is a story of one such girl who chased her dream with a bat in this “Gentleman’s Game” #ShabaashMithu The Unheard Story Of Women In Blue will be in cinemas on 15th July 2022."

Directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film is set to release theatrically on 15th of July.
