After Taapsee Pannu and Rishi Kapoor’s intriguing posters from ‘Mulk’ had garnered a lot of interest, today as promised the nearly 50 second teaser is out and it looks quite promising. Rishi will be seen essaying the role of Murad Ali Mohammed, for whom Taapsee playing the role of Aarti Mohammad will be fighting at the court as his lawyer. The movie also stars Prateik Babbar, Ashutosh Rana and Rajat Kapoor in pivotal roles.

Based on true events, the teaser has managed to easily create some buzz on social media. In the video, glimpses of all the key characters in the movie, played by Prateik Babbar, Manoj Pahwa, Rajat Kapoor, Ashutosh Rana, Neena Gupta are seen. It is all about a Muslim family based in Varanasi who is accused of treason. Both in the beginning and the end of the teaser, Taapsee gets to deliver two powerful dialogues.
