Taapsee Clarifies on Ajith and Rajinikanth

To Tamil audience, fanaticism over Superstar Rajinikanth is a devotion beyond religion. Literally worshiped as Thalaivar, Rajinikanth is one of the greatest legends Indian cinema has seen, and refuses to compare anyone with him. But there was a ruckus recently over Taapsee having allegedly put Thalaivar and Thala Ajith on the same scale, and proudly pulling off herself to be an ardent Ajith fan.
This has enraged audience, calling in for clarification from the actress. Taapsee stepped into the picture and posted on her micro blog, clearing the mist of confusion. The actress said that she was misquoted, while what she actually meant was that she is more a fan of Ajith than that of Thala. I am a fan of Ajith's persona and the simpleton he is in real life, more than of his on-screen presence as Thala. This is what I meant when I said I am more a fan of Ajith than Thala's. But the latter half seems to have been misquoted. I did not compare Ajith with Rajinikanth on any regard says Taapsee.
