Kollywood's Ashtavadhani T.Rajendhar has acted in an important role in 'Kavan' directed by K.V.Anand and this is his first film as an actor under another director.

Speaking about working with the legendary star. Anand said "Initially he refused to act in the film after listening to the script. He was afraid that we will make fun of him. But I was having a genuine reason. Thankfully he was convinced and acted in the film. He was highly dedicated and professional. He will be strictly punctual and gives utmost respect to every technician. Young professionals have a lot to learn from him."

TR is always known for his rhyming punches and 'Kavan' will ofcourse have them. "Before shooting he will say that he will add things that were not in paper and I can cut them in Editing if I don't want them."

The director assured that he plays an important character that comes through out the film and he has also excelled in comedy that will make us laugh. The director also revealed his character may have negative shades too which is something we need to assess while watching the film in theaters.
