T. Rajendhar is a one of a kind film personality not only in Tamil but also in India as he can juggle multiple roles in his films including acting as the hero, writing the screenplay,cinematography, music score, editing, art direction, singing, lyric writing and production among others. The last film he directed and acted was 'Veerasamy' that released in the year 2007 with Mumtaj as the heroine and the only film he has acted in someone else's direction is 'Kavan' directed by K.V. Anand.

T. Rajendhar is returning to direction after 11 years and the as yet untitled film is said to be a political satire with Radha Ravi, Robo Shankar and 17 other comedians in the cast.

He is reportedly in talks with Namitha to play the lead role and will soon make an official announcement. Namitha was last seen in the 'Bigg Boss' season one after which she got married.
