Legendary actor-filmmaker T. Rajendar took ill a few weeks back and was under treatment at a private hospital in Chennai. On June 14th on the insistence of his son Simbu he flew to the USA for advanced treatement for his stomach related illness.

Reliable sources gave the info that TR responded well to the treatment abroad and is in good health now. Fans got more cheer as a photo of TR with his son Simbu and wife Usha from the US hospital has been released. The pic shows that the 67 year old multitalented entertainer is energetic and in an upbeat mood.

Our sources have opined that the TR family will return home in the next three week's time. Simbu is expected to take part in the shooting of his next movie 'Pathu Thala' in the second week of July. Meanwhile his 'Venthu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' directed by GVM has locked the September 15th release date.
