Way back in 1976 Sylvester Stallone stormed the screens with his rags to riches boxing film 'Rocky' which he co-wrote too and the rest as they say is history. The character became synonymous with the actor himself and is his most famous role recognized the world over in his distinguished career.
Stallone has since made five sequels which were all successful at the worldwide box office and recently he reprised the role in the spinoff 'Creed' and now the just released 'Creed 2' has also a roaring hit critically as well as commercially. The action hero has stated "I just want to thank everyone around the whole wide World for taking the Rocky family into their hearts for over 40 years. It’s been my Ultimate privilege to have been able to create and play this meaningful character. Though it breaks my heart, Sadly all things must pass... and end. I love you Kind and generous people , and The most wonderful thing of all , is that ROCKY will never die because he lives on in you ...." Well all we can say is thank you Sly for giving us Rocky.
