Months ago, Surender Reddy approached 'Baahubali' sensation Anushka for a role in 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'.  She would be seen as a narrator in the magnum opus.  Unlike most of the films, this one will have the narrator physically present on the screen, at least in a few moments.  She is a proper character in the movie.  The 'Bhaagamathie' actress is considered a lucky charm.  

"Anushka took her time to come on board.  Producer Ram Charan and male lead Chiranjeevi are quite happy that she is in," says a source.

The period drama, set in the 1800s, has Nayanthara and Tamannaah in two important roles; Amitabh Bachchan, Jagapathi Babu, Vijay Sethupathy and Brahmaji will also be seen in key roles.

There are unconfirmed reports that 'Sye Raa' will hit the screens in the first half of October.
