'Sye Raa' is expected to break into the Rs 100 Cr (Share) club in the Telugu States next week. At about Rs 94 Cr as of now, the historical-costume drama is yet to give its distributors a break-even, let alone profits.
"Although the stakeholders are on the verge of achieving break-even by Sunday in Nizam and Nellore, not everyone will be in that zone by the end of the weekend. The film needs to continue to do reasonably well for the rest of the month. Going by its performance so far, it might do," an analyst says.
The Chiranjeevi-starrer, directed by Surender Reddy, was sold for Rs 107 Cr to the distributors in the Telugu States.
