Till the other day, 'Sye Raa' was shot in the Serlingampally revenue division near Hyderabad. A set had been erected to can some sequences.
The news is that the set has reportedly been demolished by officials of the Revenue Department either partially or wholly. The dwelling of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy (played by Chiranjeevi) has been burnt down.
Allegedly, producer Ram Charan hadn't sought the permission from the concerned department before erecting the set.
It's precisely on this location that some crucial sequences of 'Rangasthalam' were shot. Owing to convenience, the makers of 'Sye Raa' had chosen the same location to shoot the biopic.
As per some media reports, the officials have felt that the act of the makers of 'Sye Raa' amounts to encroachment with the intention to trespass the area on the pretext of carrying out film shootings.
At the time of writing this piece, no statement was made by either Ram Charan or Megastar Chiranjeevi.
