'Sye Raa' is all set to hit the screens in a gargantuan way on October 2. Ahead of its release, some facts about Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy's life are in the open.
History has it that Narasimha Reddy (played by Megastar Chiranjeevi) had a 16-year-old son, who was captured by the British after the 1846 battle. It has to be seen if this character is there in the movie.
After the revolt against East India Company, Narasimha Reddy escaped into Nallamalla forests. The British officials hunted for him and eventually captured him. He was hanged to death later. How the Nallamalla portions have been depicted in 'Sye Raa' will be interesting to watch.
After executing Narasimha Reddy, his skeleton was displayed for public viewing in a cage in Renadu for 30 years! This was meant to instill fear in the public.
Director Surender Reddy has made it as a humongous film. For example, a particular song is so huge that it was shot for 14 days. "Over 4,500 junior artists were hired for the Jathara song, which was shot for two weeks," the makers say.
The film will release on October 2.
