Speaking at the pre-release event of 'Sye Raa', Rajamouli was all praise for Megastar, director Surender Reddy and the film's story writers.
He said, "This is a historic movie. I first congratulate Paruchuri Brothers for conceiving the idea of telling Narasimha Reddy's story. It was a Telugu warrior to waged the first rebellion against the British. Ram Charan dared to produce the movie and 'Sye Raa' is a gift not just to Chiranjeevi garu but everyone."
"I have come to know that there are 3,800 VFX shots in 'Sye Raa'. 'Baahubali' had 2,300 shots. I know how difficult it is to make an emotional film in the milieu of VFX. I congratulate director Surender Reddy for pulling it off," the 'RRR' director added.
"Chiranjeevi garu had participated in the story discussions of 'Magadheera'. He was very enthusiastic during the discussions. He even enacted some of the scenes. I told my wife that he was imagining himself as the film's hero instead of seeing his son in the role! After the film's release, he told me that he could never do a movie like 'Magadheera'. With 'Sye Raa', his wish stands fulfilled," Rajamouli signed off.
