This is a film for family and no doubt a fitting film for `Mothers Day' correcting all fathers who leave their children and wife in lurch. The possessiveness of mother and son in this `Sweety.Nanna Jodi' to the 21century context is good thought.  Actor Adhitya in the posh house telling his father on what he has been given in life by mother when he has left him at the age of five connects the family audience very well. In addition to it the female protagonist Radhika a very intelligent character in the film coming out with a `Deal' - memorandum for understanding with her mother in law for happy family holds a mirror to the society.

The security the film offers for the family and the film coming from Janata Dal Secular HD Kumaraswamy wife Radhika Kumaraswamy is politically also a correct film one feels.

This could be followed in the middle and upper middle class family. The parents sufferings could be sorted out in such a deal that is brought in the climax of `Sweety..Nanna Jodi' with precise practical approach.

It is a brilliant piece of work from director Vijayalakshmi Singh, superb presence of Radhika Kumaraswamy and equally solid stay of Adhitya with Ajayan Vincent in camera, Arjun Janya in music working out for this complete family entertainer. There is no need to go back from films Radhikaji. You are a performer with beauty in tact coming after six years to cinema. Cheers for the whole team!

A film for `mother's Day' a film for `Father's day' at the end is an emotional journey. The deal made by Vijayalakshmi sing for this is exceptionally good, novel in thinking and practical in approach.

Possessiveness on the one side and immense love on the other side - balancing act is important. This is what the director gives in her fourth direction in Kannada cinema. It is a `Dilkush' film with excellent production values and editing very precise and apt except in one occasion.

Aristocratic youngster Siddarth (Aditya) living with his mother Vasundhara Devi (Ramya Krishna) business tycoon believes mother is everything for him. When he falls in love with charming beauty Priya (Radhika) he had to take up ordinary life. He pretends to Priya that he is very poor to get her love. When Priya learns after falling in love with Siddarth that he is the son of Vasundhara Devi the turn of events are fast and convincing.

An educated and brilliant Priya looks at the angle of Vasundhara Devi despite of engagement, marriage and torture to her. The possessiveness of the mother to son is given top priority in life. On the other hand Siddarth on the arrival of his father for his marriage makes it clear that mother is everything to him.

With such emotional twist to the family audience in the film director Vijayalakshmi Singh takes another route for solution. The MOU between mother Vasundhara Devi and daughter in law Priya that is quite interesting and practical in its approach. The possessiveness of highest level between the two is sorted out amicably.

Vijayalakshmi Singh daughter of a renowned film maker late Shanker Singh and daughter of yesteryears popular actress Protima Devi has actor, producer and director husband Jai Jagdeesh, her brother is national acclaimed director SV Rajendra Singh Babu and her close relative Adhitya is hero of this film. Such a film from top cinema industry family member has got right kind of support from one of the top actresses Radhika who is producer of the film. The feel good factor is there throughout the film. It is the family audience who are major target for this film.

It is wonderful from Radhika Kumaraswamy. She has not lost a centimeter of glamour. She looks very fit and performance ability is fabulous. The costumes selection and locations add extra glamour to her role. Radhika could try for more films in her second innings. The dancing ability of Radhika is another laudable aspect.

Already handsome in looks Adhitya has made some changes in this love cum emotional film. After `Edhegerike' this film for Adhitya is a good changeover. He is here to stay in Kannada cinema industry for a long period.

Absorbing performance from Ramya Krishna is another mainstay of this film. She looks much younger and given right emotions for her role.

Dr Karnad, Jai Jagadish, Sadhu Kokila, Umasri steal the show with rich experience behind them. Tabla Nani and Jai Dev lend good support.

Two technicians who take equal marks are cinematographer Ajayan Vincent and top ranking music director Arjun Janya gives visual treat and pleasant hearing.

This is a thoroughly watchable film for family audience.
