In a shocking news, thieves have took off with the Swedish Crown jewels and an orb from a cathedral on Thursday. The incident happened in broad daylight when two thieves stole two royal crowns and sped off in bikes before getting on to a speedboat.
The police have now lifted off the cordon surrounding the cathedral and are examining the peripheral for more evidence. Reportedly, the stolen jewels belong to the 1600s and were a part of the funeral regalia of King Charles IX and his wife Queen Christina.
The two bikes on which the thieves are suspected to be ladies bikes as one had a child carrier attached and reportedly they were stolen too. Police have begun their manhunt in the jewelry heist and helicopters are even being used to track down the suspects.
