Title - SWAYAMKRISHI, Banner - SK Films, Producer - Veerendra Babu, Story, screenplay, direction - Veerendra Babu, Cinematography - Sudharkar, Music - Abhiman Roy, Cast - Veerendra Babu, Tamanna, Ambarish, Suman, Charan Raj, Rekha V Kumar, Amogh (Janardhan), Satyajith, Biaenca Desai, Vijay Chendur, Chidanand, Umasri, Akki Channa Basappa and others.

In the debut shouldering the responsibilities of direction, production and acting Veerendra Babu is a winner. Very rarely we find a film with purpose that motivates the younger generation. This is a film must watch for lazybones and freeloaders in this society.

'Swayamkrishi' is the company owned by Veerendra Babu with multiple business interests has made a self focusing film is a truth but what is more interesting is his way of narrating and bringing in responsibility to the youths who sit with miseries.

'Swayamkrishi' the first attempt film is an easily passable film because of various elements tucked with neat presentation. We hardly find a director and producer like Veerendra Babu around us. The brilliance of the cinema is in focusing 'Future Bengaluru'. The ideas evolved with visual presentation the protagonist presents it to Chief Minister in the film is admirable. This is no doubt a multipurpose cinema. The significance is attached to self reliance, do good nature, feel of our society and importance of human relationship is more important than earning money etc are appreciable factors.

Vijayakumar (Veerendra Babu) comes to city from village on the insistence of his mother to grow bigger. An intelligent and invigorating youngster he has the knack of dealing anything with power of intelligence. His good intentions of course are liked by Kalyani (Tamanna) and the efficient sales representative Vijaykumar gets the nod for marriage from Kalyani parents. At this point he is posted to Mumbai for expertise in his marketing field. At the fiance house everything has changed because Kalyani father is rich today as he gets the ancestral property. Vijayakumar is not accepted by Kalyani father and here he throws the challenge to grow much more than him in his life. Vijakumar with his friends grows massively starting chain of businesses in the 'Diet and Eat' slogan.

Vijaykumar becomes the youngster entrepreneur and get the national award for his achievement. Again at this point of time he focuses on the speech of Karnataka Chief Minister Dr Ambarish. The NABARAD loan of Rs.25000 crores for future Bengaluru strikes his mind. He develops the plan for future Bengalure and that is what even the chief minister also had in his mind. Vijaykumar clinches the deal and his opponent GK (Suman) walks out bowing to his intelligence.

In the first film as an actor Veerendra Babu falls behind but he is tolerable. As a director of the film he is a winner with flying colors. He has made every frame of the film look pleasant to the eyes. The support of artists and technicians has come very helpful for him.

Tamanna looks good and the dialogue done for her role is impressive. Biaenca Desai in an inconsequential role is OK. Vijay Chendur as a comedian is attractive. Janardhan as Amogh in this film fails to impress. Ambarish is delectable and Suman catches attention for his looks. Charanraj has nothing much to perform. Rekha as mother of heroine is as grand as ever.

Abhiman Roy the state award winning music director gives three melody numbers and its presentation on screen is extremely good from cameraman Sudhakar.  The cinematography in one stunning action sequence and other places is very apt.

This is a must watch film by youths especially. A film like 'Swayamkrishi' helps in building nation.

Score - 7.5/10
