'Subramaniapuram' showcased Swathy as a naïve girl terribly in love. Her expressive eyes have become the latest sensation in the Tamil Film Industry. She has now stormed her way to fame with such ease élan that can make many other actresses turn green with envy.

After the stupendous success of 'Subramaniapuram', she is now flooded with offers in Tamil Cinema. However she is in no hurry to accept offers.

A student of bio-technology, Swathy was introduced to films by director Krishnavamsi in his Telugu film 'Danger'. It was followed by Selvaraghavan's film in Telugu 'Adavari Matalukku Ardhalae Verulae'. Impressed with her performance in the film, Sasikumar assigned her to act in 'Subramaniapuram'.

“After 'Subramaniapuram', I am getting many offers in Tamil. But I am waiting for the right script. I am now acting in a film titled 'Ashta Samma' in Telugu. It is directed by Mohan Krishna”, says Swathy.

“Sasikumar managed to extract the best from me. I am thankful to him. The whole team is happy with the unprecedented success of 'Subramaniapuram”, she says with glee.
