'Swathi Muthyam' has locked its release date. This Ganesh Bellamkonda film, directed by Lakshman K Krishna, is produced by S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments. And it is going to come out as a Dasara release.

"The date is set!! A beautiful tale of our Bhagyalakshmi and Balamurali is ready to take you on a fun and exquisite ride on OCT 5th, in theatres near you! (sic)," the producer today said.

Co-starring Varsha Bollamma as the heroine, it has VK Naresh, Surekha Vani, together with Rao Ramesh and Pragathi, in key roles. The entertainer also stars Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore, Harshavardhan, Pammi Sai, Goparaju Ramana of 'Middle Class Melodies' fame, Siva Narayana, Pragathi, Sunaina, Divya Sripada of 'Colour Photo' fame, among others. Its music is by Mahathi Swara Sagar.

Sithara Entertainments recently postponed Swathi Muthyam's release from mid-August to support 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' and 'Karthikeya 2'.
