Swathi Reddy is extremely careful selecting her projects in the tinsel town. After the success of Karthikeya the actress is currently busy juggling projects in Tamil and Malayalam. The latest is that the petite actress, who said that she doesn't sign films if the roles don't excite her, is currently working a female-centric film Tripura, directed by Raj Kiran of Geethanjali fame.

The film is done with the first schedule of shooting and the director says, “Kona Venkat and Veligonda Srinivas` contributions to the script have been invaluable. We filmed key scenes at specially erected sets in the city and we`re pretty pleased with the output.”
