Swapna Sanchari
After a gap of almost a decade, ace Mollywood director Kamal is coming back to one of his favorite heroes, Jayaram. The union of two known names of Mollywood will be for the movie 'Swapnasanchari' which is currently under production. Kamal and Jayaram who were part of the some of the hit movies of the nineties including 'Krishnagudiyil oru Pranayakalathu', 'Thooval Sparsham', 'Subhayathra', 'Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal', 'Pradeshika Varthakal' and 'Ayyushkalam' was last seen together for the movie 'Kaikudanna Nilavu' which came out in the year 1998. Kamal' and his crew has almost completed the shoot for 'Swapnasanchari' in and around the lucky locales at Thodupuzha. A family entertainer, Kamal presents his hero as Ajayachandran Nair, who was once a peon in the government office. He was living a happy life with his wife Reshmi, father Achuthan Nair and only daughter Aswathy. But later due to the want for making more money, Ajayachandran Nair leaves for Gulf, earns immense wealth and brings back much to his homeland to invest in land and other amenities. Ajayan's friend Rameshan, who is a politician, is the one who encourages him to go for the big bungalow, posh cars and to invest in business deals that may bring back the capitals in little time. But Ajayan's wife and father, who still remain as the good old villagers could not mentally accept the situation of high class life and fails to accept the new demands from Ajayan. More over they are even against Ajayan entering such kind of business ventures which yield big profits .Ajayan is but determined to live on his own terms, but little does he realise that he is changing a lot to a more shrewder person who cares little about relationships and goodness, than money. Jayaram dons the role of Ajayachandran Nair while Samvrutha comes up as Reshmi. Producer Thankachan Immanuel's daughter Anu plays the role of Aswathy while Innocent appear as Ajayachandran's father. K. Gireesh Kumar who has given the comeback hit to Jayaram in 'Veruthe Oru Bharya' has penned the screenplay. The lyrics by Rafeeque Ahmed is set to music by M.Jayachandran. Jagathy, Harisree Asokan, Salim Kumar, Kripa, Sivaji Guruvayur, Irshad, Jayaraj Warrier, Sasi Kalinga, Sunil Varma, Balachandran Chullikad, Manikandan Pattambi, Kavitha, and Surabhi are also in the cast of 'Swapanasanchari'. Produced by Thankachan Immanuel in the banner of True Line Cinema, 'Swapanasanchari' is expected to be on theaters by this November. |
