Supreme court refuses anticipatory bail to S.Ve. Sekhar and gives strict orders

Supreme court gives sensational orders to S.Ve. Sekhar

S.Ve. Sekhar had posted a derogatory statement against female journalists on his social media page. Following a complaint by the journalists an arrest warrant was issued and the veteran comedian has since been absconding. The Chennai high court had already made it clear that it will not stay the arrest of the actor.

Sekhar had approached the Supreme Court and the case came up for hearing today. The highest court of the country not only refused to stay Sekhar's arrest but also ordered him to appear at the Egmore Court which is hearing the case without further delay. The beleaguered actor is expected to make an appearance in the court after weeks of staying underground.
