Recently Nandamuri Balakrishna was purported to have degraded both ANR and SV Ranga Rao while delivering a 30-minute-long speech at the pre-release event of 'Veera Simha Reddy'. While Naga Chaitanya and Akhil have condemned the remarks, the family of SVR has come out in support of the TDP leader.
In a statement on Wednesday, the grandsons of SVR said that they see nothing objectionable in what Balayya said. "He was only referring to some private conversation he had with someone he knows. We see no disrespectful tone in his remarks," the family members of SVR said.
They added that SVR's family has had a very strong and healthy equation with Balayya. "We request the media and Netizens not to drag our relationship into murky waters. We have always and will always have good relations with the Nandamuri family," they said.
The statement by the grandsons of SVR may not satisfy his admirers. But then, they have chosen to bury the controversy once and for all.
