Director duo Pushkar - Gayathri of 'Vikram Vedha' fame has written and produced the new web series 'Suzhal - The Vortex' that is going to stream on Amazon Prime Video from June 17th in 30 plus world languages.  The trailer of the eight-part series has been unveiled and promises to be a multi-layered edge-of-the-seat thrill ride.

The trailer of 'Suzhal' takes the viewers into an industrial town where a school girl goes missing after the main factory there is shut down.  The elder sister of the girl played by Aishwarya Rajesh is obsessed with finding her with the help of a local cop Kathir.  While the core story is this there are other layers of how the investigation shakes the very existence of the town and the many secrets it hides with the collission of ancient myths and the turblulent present.

'Suzhal' is written, produced and created  by Pushkar - Gayathri while Brahmma and Bramma and  Anucharan M have directed four episodes each. Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Sriya Reddy and Kumaravel and Harish Uttaman.
