Sushmita waiting to come out as Rani

She would have won the beauty crown but Sushmita Sen is pinning to show the world the legendary queen image of hers. Her production is quite ready with movie, ‘Rani Laxmi Bai’, where Sush plays the popular freedom fighter. But due to limited budget, the movie has been paused in its tracks.

“Rani Laxmi Bai, my home production, is indefinitely on hold till I have the funds to make the film the way I want to. Laxmi Bai to me is a dream; it's not just a film. So I can't compromise with it at all. The script, the storyboard, everything is ready...it's just a matter of putting in the money now and making the film.”

Besides this one, she has another production project of hers on hold. The movie is based on Benazir Bhutto; here too the actress plays the main character. For this movie, the team needs the Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) permission to make the film as it deals with a controversial subject.

Hmm, we really hope for the best! May the actress take up these reigning roles soon!
