Actress Sushmita Sen is all set to deliver an amazing performance in the upcoming web show 'Taali' in which she'll be seen portraying transgender activist Gauri Sawant. Sushmita announced the show recently by sharing a first look picture of her character and talked about how privileged she feels to portray such an inspiring personality on screen.

For the unversed, Gauri Sawant is the founder of Sakhi Char Chowghi through which she helps transgender people and people with HIV/AIDS. Sushmita wrote on Instagram, "Nothing makes me prouder & more grateful than to have the privilege of portraying this beautiful person & of bringing her story to the world!! Here’s to life & to everyone’s right to live it with dignity!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga.”

The show will have six episodes in total focusing on the struggles of Gauri Sawant's life and her journey to become India's first transgender mother. The show is expected to get wrapped up by November end.
