Presented by Annapurna Studios, ‘Current’ starring Sushanth, grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Sneha Ullal in the lead is being produced by Chinthalapudi Srinivas Rao and A.Nagasuseela on Sri Nag Corporations. SuryaPrathap, who worked with director Sukumar for 'Arya' and director Bhaskar for 'Bommarillu' has debuted as a director with this film.

The film has completed the first two schedules and the third gets completed today on 31st January. A press meet was organized to relate news about the way the film is shaping up.

Producers Srinivas Rao and Nagasuseela speaking to the press, said,” Till now eighty percent of the talkie portions have been filmed with the songs and fights pending to be done in February. We are planning to bring out the movie this summer.”

‘Inspired highly by the story line of the film, Devi Sri Prasad requested for further time slot to compose quality music to which we accentuated and postponed the songs to be filmed near the end.’

Stunt scenes are being choreographed by Kanal Kannan, editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and cinematography is by Vijaykumar C.
