The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput came as a shock to everyone across the country. The actor reportedly committed suicide on Sunday and initial reports say that he was found hanging at his Bandra residence.
The 34-year-old actor rose to fame for performances in films like ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Dhoni: The Untold Story’, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ and ‘Chhichhore’. Besides acting, the actor's passion for star-gazing is well-known in film circles and among his fans. The space buff was so interested in the mysteries of the universe that he bought a Meade 14" LX600 telescope for himself because he always wanted to see the rings of the planet Saturn.
On one Instagram post, he even shared pictures of his telescope. “It’s one of the most advanced telescopes in the world and I’m going to be able to see Saturn’s rings through it,” he wrote.
Interestingly, he also owns a piece of land on the moon in a region called the Mare Muscoviense or the ‘Sea of Muscovy'. He is the only Indian who had bought a piece of land on the moon. According to reports, he bought the property from the International Lunar Lands Registry. Rajput, who often treats his fans with information about the celestial bodies had also shared on his Instagram post about his property on the moon. Before him, actor Shah Rukh Khan was gifted a piece of land on the moon by a fan.
He also had craze on motor vehicles. He owned several luxury vehicles such as BMW K 1300 R motorcycle, Maserati Quattroporte, and Land Rover Range Rover SUV. Reportedly, the actor's net worth was around rupee 59 crore.
