One of Bollywood’s finest actors, Sushant Singh Rajput is reported to have bought a piece of land on the moon from the International Lunar Lands Registry. Could it be a unique way of promoting his upcoming film, ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ or was he already dreaming to own such a place is still unknown to us. It is said that he had bought the land in a region caleed the Mare Muscoviense, or the Sea of Muscovy.

Sushant is said to already own an advance telescope called the Meade 14” LX600 which brings up to the fact that he can now keep an eye over his property from his home on Earth itself. Rajput had stated,“I would like to believe that the different ways we answer questions ‘are’ the answers of those questions. So the variations in the way we punctuate the narratives; the nuance, would create the different versions of reality in future. My mother used to tell me that my life will be the story that I will tell myself. I am just punctuating a nuance right now and already am, over the Moon!”

Although Shah Rukh Khan has already been gifted a piece on the Moon by a fan, Sushant might be considered as the first Bollywood actor ever who has purchased a property from the outer space. According to an international treaty, outer space that includes the Moon and other celestial bodies are the common heritage of mankind and cannot be owned by any nation, it looks like the actor may not have any legal ownership on it.
