Sushant Singh Rajput who was in Delhi last week for the promotions of his upcoming film, 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy' was keen to attend a history lecture at Delhi University.

Sushant has always found history very interesting and it was one of his favourite subjects in school. So when he came to know he was going to Delhi, he decided to attend a history lecture at Delhi University as it has the best history department with excellent teachers.

Sushant was accompanied by his director Dibakar Banerjee and they both were going to attend the lecture. However, due to the sudden strike in the Delhi University, they were unable to visit the college and attend the lecture.

Sushant had been very excited to go back to college and relive his days as a student and interact with the students. So he was very disappointed that it did not work out as he had been looking forward to it.

Shared Dibakar Banerjee, "Really was looking forward to a history class with the students. But I guess in forty three there were strikes in Delhi colleges as well! Against the British. History is repeating itself."
