After his latest directorial venture 'Paayum Puli' that earned mixed reviews, Suseenthiran`s next would be his production venture Vil Ambu` directed by debutante Ramesh Subramaniayan.

The film is ready for release and the Censor Board officials have recently given A certificate to the film as they felt that the film had a lot of violence. Though the officials suggested that the film can be given a clean chit if the violent elements they objected to were removed, the makers did not budge as they felt that this would affect the coherence of the film.

Now sources close to Suseenthiran have suggested that he has decided to appeal to the Revising Committee against the Censor rating given to Vil Ambu` and press for U` certificate for the film.

It is to be noted that films that do not get U` certificate from Censor will not be eligible for the 30% Entertainment Tax exemption granted by Tamil Nadu Government.

We hope that Suseenthiran and team get justice from the Revising Committee.

Vil Ambu` stars Sri, Harish Kalyan, Shrushti Dange, Samskruthi Shenoy, Shanthini Tamizharasan, Harish Uthaman and many others. Naveen has scored music for the film while Martin Jo has handled the camera.
