The Tamil Nadu State Awards for the years 2009 to 2014 have been announced on Thursday. (You can read the complete list Here: Hero Vikram, Heroine Aishwarya Rajesh and Villain Vijay Sethupathi).

Many film industry celebrities have thanked the Government for honouring their work with the award.

However director Suseenthiran who made his debut as a director in 2008 with the film 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' has expressed his dejection for that fact that none of his films have been selected for any award in 30 categories for each year. Especially ignoring his National Award winning film 'Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai' and not giving the Award for Anal Arasu for his work in the acclaimed climax fight sequence of 'Naan Mahan Alla' has perplexed the filmmaker.

However the 'Pandiya Naadu' director has wished all of his friends who are going to get the State Awards.
