Comedian Vadivelu had recently given an interview, in which the actor had spoken in a way belittling director Chimbudeven, who had given him the superhit Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi and was to direct Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi, and director Shankar who was the producer of both the movies.

Following this, many film personalities like Amma creations T Siva, director and actor Samuthirakani, Naveen and many others condemned the statements given by Vadivelu and said that such a talented artist must not have spoken in that way and must have respected the director.

Now, following them director Suseenthiran has posted a note condemning vadivelu, and he has written that the way Vadivelu spoke deserves to be condemned. He praised Chimbudeven's works while also pointing out that movies post Imsai Arasan like Indralogathil Azhagappan, Eli and Tenaliraman failed at box office, and registered his voice against Vadivelu.
