Director Suseenthiran had last directed Genius with newcomer Roshan and the movie was released last year, opening to mixed reviews. Recently, Suseenthiran had debuted as an actor with the thriller Suttu Pidikka Utharavu directed by Ramprakash Rayappa, co-starring Vikranth and Mysskin.

Now Suseenthiran is all set to return as a director with his next movie Angelina, which has been in the making for an year now. Angelina is a suspense thriller that revolves around a woman and has a social awareness message and will be focusing on the investigation process.

It has been made official that Angelina will be releasing worldwide on July 26. The movie marks the debut of Saran Sanjai in lead role, and has Krisha Kurup of Goli Soda 2 as the female lead. Actors Soori and Devadarshini also play important roles in Angelina which has music by D Imman.
