Actor Surya’s Anjaan with director N. Lingusamy is progressing at a brisk pace and the expectations on this Surya-Samantha starrer is raising every other day. Before Surya started working with Lingusamy, it was stated that Surya will join with Venkatprabhu and Studio Green, owned by the actor’s close relative will be producing the film. Since the commencement of Anjaan, people started guessing that Surya’s proposed film with the Biriyani director may be shelved.

But these guesses have to be rubbished as rumors if we have to depend on some interesting details let out by sources close to Studio Green. They say that Venkat Prabhu had started the script work for the Surya film in January in Pondicherry. Currently the director is giving final touches to the script in Chennai and is expected to submit the final draft to Surya very soon. Once the star gives his nod for the script, an official announcement about the cast and crew of the film will be announced and that can be expected within the end of February. The film is also expected to kick start in April.

Sources also say that Surya is super excited about his project with Venkat Prabhu since the director is working on an entirely different script with a new genre tone and tenor. They also assure that the film will not resemble in any way, any of the earlier films of Surya or Venkat Prabhu but definitely satisfy the fan base of both the celebrities.
