Actor-director S J Suryah, after a huge debacle in Kalvanin Kadhali, has been maintaining a low profile.

His next Pandigai, with screenplay and dialogues by Perarasu and directed by Muthuvadugu (Perarasu's brother) was supposed to hit the floors last April. However it could not take off. Similarly, Suryah has been speaking about churning out a movie for children. But it also seems to be delayed.

When contacted Suryah, said, 'Pandigai has not been shelve. It would go to floors this October'.

Pandigai would be a different film and would be a treat for my fans, he said.

Perarasu also confirmed the same. He said, 'I am currently busy with Dharmapuri. It would be over this September. Following which Pandigai would begin'.

Muthuvadugu, a one-time associate of director Shankar has given final touches to the storyline.

The entire crew is optimistic of beginning the movie this October.

Meanwhile, Suryah is taking up Thirumaghan, directed by Ratnakumar for Kalaipuli S Thanu.

Looking a hirsute, Suryah is sporting a new get-up for this movie. His over made-up face came for lot of criticism in Kalvanin Kadali.

And surprise of surprises, Meera Jasmine will get to play his heroine.
