Suruthi Periyasamy the nutritionist turned model was a surprise entry in 'Bigg Boss 5' hosted by Kamal Haasan. She served as the captain of the contestants and her decisions created a stir among the housemates. She was expected to have a long stay but in the past weekend was evicted.

Fans expected Suruthi to escape eviction since she possessed the coin but for some reason did not do so. In her first video after exiting 'Bigg Boss 5' wholeheartedly thanking her fans the 26 year old said that the happiness that she would have gotten laying her hands on the trophy after 100 days she has recieved in 35 days from all the love from fans.

Suruthi says that she has no regrets about her eviction but she does feel bad that she disappointed her supporters who took the time to vote for her. She further revealed that from her birthday later this month she is embarking on a new journey and solicited support for that too.
