Versatile director Kodi Ramakrishna is currently making a biopic on Puttaparthi Sathya Sai Baba. A set of Prashanthi Nilayam has been set up at Ramanaidu Studios and key scenes being shot for a month now. Produced by Karatam Rambabu, this film has music by Maestro Ilayaraja and 14 songs written by Jonnavitthula. The ongoing schedule will come to an end by March 10.

Malayalam actor Sreejith Vijay is essaying the Baba's role. A few inmates of Sai Baba's Prashanthi Nilayam also are part of the cast. Jayaprada is playing the Baba's mother, while Sharath Babu is the father.

Ramesh Mohanthy, who has earlier been Kamal Haasan's make-up artiste, is working on this movie. Legendary vocalist Balamurali Krishna, who recently passed away, has sung his last number for this movie. SPB, Vandemataram Srinivas, Chitra, Haricharan, Vijay Prakash, Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Kalash Kher, Sukhwinder Singh, Malladi Brothers, Andreah, Tippu and others are the other singers. Vasu is the cinematographer.
