The supernatural thriller ‘Raksha’ produced by 'One More Thought Entertainments Pvt Ltd.,' and Zed3 Pictures stars Jagapati Babu and Kalyani in the lead cast along with whom Baby Neha plays the title role. Ram Gopal Varma presents this movie which has attained wide accolades from the audience.

The film is running in theatres, reaping surprisingly successful response. On this occasion a press meet was organized at Poison Club, Hyderabad on 28th September.

Speaking on the occasion hero Jagapathi Babu said, “As expected by me, along with the youngsters even the family audience is enjoying the movie. The collections are also encouraging. I am happy to have associated again with Ram through 'Raksha'. Vamsi Krishna has wonderfully created this film.”

Director Vamsi Krishna Akella said, “I have no words to express my gratitude to Ram Gopal Varma. There are three people whom I shall remember through out my life time, they are Subbahraju, Ram Gopal Varma and Jagapati Babu.

He continued saying, “All those who are storming the theatres to watch the film, expecting it to be a horror film, are getting enthralled and surprised after watching it. Most of them have started to believe that God is great and not black-magic. I do advise to watch this film in 3-D which will be a life time experience.”

Ram Gopal Varma said, “While I was on the search for a writer, Subbah Raju introduced Vamsi to me. Both of us envisaged and our work came out as 'Phoonk'. At that time, I was impressed by his talent and asked him to direct it in Telugu, and made a request to Jagapati Babu to play the lead. There is a lot of difference in 'Phoonk' & 'Raksha'. Vamsi has made it in his own distinct style. 'Phoonk' did not attract Vamsi, but I was very much impressed by 'Raksha'. Now, I think you can decide it yourself as to who is the great director among us. I like Jagapati Babu's performance in this film, and also Baby Neha's performance as Raksha is laudable.”

Subbahraju, Baby Neha, Master Athulith and others were present on the occasion.

Hero Jagapati Babu released the logo of 'Raktha Cherithra' the latest venture of RGV, on this occasion. The movie is being produced by the same duo who produced ‘Raksha’ earlier. It is set to be directed by debutants Dharma – Raksha. The flick is said to be based on the outline of factionism.
