Surprise IT raid at Karnataka minister's premises

The Income Tax department raided the premises and resorts of Karnataka minister Shivakumar. The resort which is being raided is where Gujarat's 44 congress MLA's being housed as political confusion prevails at Ahmedabad.

The tax officials are currently raiding as many as 39 locations, all belonging to people from Congress. Following the raid the Rajya Sabha was a scene of chaos with various other parties raising questions on BJP's intention to raid at the time of elections.
