The problem with having similar sounding titles is controversy. And the Hindi version of Suriya's 'Singam 2', titled 'Main Hoon Surya Singham 2' was to have released today. But the plans got cancelled in the last minute, as the distributors Marudhara Entertainment and Cinecon Entertainment received a legal notice from Reliance Big Pictures. The whole issue is because of a confusion regarding the title.

Reliance Big Pictures claims that Marudhara Entertainment and Cinecon Entertainment do not have the rights to the title 'Singham 2'. Sure enough, they don't. But owing to the confusion due to misunderstanding and hence the legal notice drama, 'Main Hoon Surya Singham 2' has been pushed to August. Prabhu of Studio Green Entertainment had posted in his micro blog that the film will hit the screens on August 2nd.
