Actor Suriya who had starred in the political entertainer NGK directed by Selvaraghavan and Kaappaan directed by KV Anand this year, will be seen next in Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara. This movie which is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment will release in Summer 2020.

Suriya is getting ready for the shoot of his 39th movie, which will have him teaming with his hit director Hari after Aaru, Vel and Singam series. On the other end, he has also made discussions with director Vetrimaran for a movie which might be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.

It was recently said that Suriya will join hands with director Gautham Vasudev Menon 11 years after their Vaaranam Aayiram for a movie produced by Vels Film International, and the latest speculation making rounds is that Anushka has been considered to play the female lead in this movie. Suriya and Anushka were previously paired in Singam series.
