Versatile actor Suriya who has just completed work on his upcoming film Anjaan` scheduled for a grand release on August 15 is expected to move on to his next that will be directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Now even before the commencement of the Suriya-Venkat Prabhu film we have news about the next film of the actor. It is revealed that the actor will be teaming up with director Vikram Kumar of Yavarum Nalam` and Manam` fame after finishing the Venkat Prabhu film. A source claims that director Vikram Kumar met Suriya recently and narrated a script. Since the Singam` star liked it he accepted to take up the lead role immediately. He will be start shooting for the Venkat Prabhu film that is touted to impress kids within end of July and after finishing that he will move on to the film that will be directed by Vikram Kumar.

Meanwhile there is strong media buzz that Suriya and his actress wife Jyothika will be acting in their maiden production venture that will be directed by Pandiraj. However the actor himself has clarified that he liked the script narrated by Pandiraj and came forward to produce it under his newly launched 2D Entertainments banner. However he is yet to take a call on whether or not to act in the film.
