Suriya's much-anticipated magnum opus "Kanguva", directed by Siruthai Siva, was released last Thursday amidst immense expectations. "Kanguva" faced criticism primarily for its present-day portions and overpowering audio levels. Responding swiftly to feedback, the makers have now trimmed approximately 12 minutes of footage, significantly reducing the present-day segments. The revised runtime stands at 2 hours and 22 minutes. Additionally, the audio issues have been addressed, promising an enhanced viewing experience.

The updated version has been re-censored and is hitting theatres from today. This proactive move is expected to boost the film’s already impressive box office run.
