Suriya has joined hands with Kollywood director Siruthai Siva. Tentatively titled 'Suriya 42', the film's motion poster was released today.
As the motion poster begins, we see the sight of a mighty eagle flying ominously. As it jumps down the sky, the eagle flies over a battlefield where different structures are given names seemingly drawn from the Tamil literature: Arathar, Venkaater, Mandaankar, Mukaatar and Perumanathar are the five different clans that are engaged in the battle. Then, the eagle flies across the battlefield and rests on the shoulder of a fierce warrior (is he the protagonist?) who is watching the battle from a hilltop.
The pan-Indian project will be made in 3D. To be released in 10 languages, it has Disha Patani of 'Loafer' fame playing the leading lady. Devi Sri Prasad's music (this one is one of the most important projects handled by the Rock Star), Vetri Palanisamy's cinematography, and Milan's art direction are expected to be top-notch.
KE Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green is associated with Vamsi Pramod's UV Creations on the production side. With action choreography done by Supreme Sundar, the film also features Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala and Anand Raj.
