We earlier reported to you that Bollywood beauty Disha Patani will be making her Tamil debut through the film Suriya 42. Now the actress has made it official and also shared an exciting update about the film.

“I am super kicked to announce my next with Suriya sir and Siva sir. It feels great to be a part of such a huge project that has got all the larger-than-life elements for the audience to experience on the big screen. Moreover, the character that I am playing is also quite unique and I am also excited to bring my never seen before avatar to the audience. (sic)" she said.

The motion poster of this movie was released yesterday. The motion poster begins with an eagle manoeuvring over an intensified warzone filled with warriors who are ready to slash each other. With the bird-view of the battlefield, the eagle then lands on a cliff, the exact place where Suriya stands tall in his warrior avatar.

It was reported that Suriya's character will be based on a Tamil ruler Vel Pari who reigned the hill country of Parambu nādu which is now called Gopichettipalayam and held sway over 300 prosperous villages. On the other hand, Patani was last seen in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns.
