Actor Suriya was last seen in NGK directed by Selvaraghavan, and his next release is the action packed Kaappaan directed by KV Anand and co-starring Sayyeshaa, Mohanlal, Arya and Samuthirakani. Kaappaan will be releasing worldwide in Tamil and Telugu on September 20.

After Kaappaan, Suriya will be seen in Sudha Kongara's Soorarai Pottru, the biopic of Air Deccan founder GR Gopinath, and while the actor also signed a movie with director Siva after success of Viswasam, to be produced by Studio Green, here's an update on one of his upcoming movies.

It has been speculated that Suriya will be producing a movie to be directed by Hari in his 2D Entertainment banner and that he will also be acting in it. Hari had last directed Saamy Square and has worked with Suriya in Aaru, Vel, Singam, Singam 2 and Singam 3 which were successful. An official clarification is expected soon.
