Suriya fans are waiting with bated breath for his next movie after 'NGK' which happens to be 'Kaappaan' directed by K.V. Anand planned for release on August 31st. The film is a huge multistarrer boasting of such names as Mohan Lal, Arya, Sayyeshaa, Poorna, Samuthirakani and Boman Irani.

K.V. Anand in a recent interview has revealed that Suriya will be seen playing a villainous character in 'Kaappaan' which will be a complete surprise for his fans. He has further explained that the theme of the film is that a man who does evil things is not all bad in his core and similarly a man who does not even harm a fly is not really completely good at heart. According to the frontline commercial director, Suriya's character will seem like a good man but will have a darker side to it and similarly Mohan Lal, Arya and Sayyeeshaa will also have shades of grey.

Anand has praised Suriya for accepting such a role in 'Kaappaan' and has shared that the hard-working star actor usually clarifies all his doubts regarding his character before the shoot begins and after satisfying himself will give one hundred per cent on the sets.
