We had reported earlier that director Vijayakumar of 'Uriyadi' fame will be making the sequel to his critically acclaimed debut film under the 2D Entertainments banner of actor-producer Suriya. We had also reported that the shooting of 'Uriyadi 2' which is the much awaited second film of Vijayakumar will go on floors on September 20, 2018.

Now we learn from sources that the film will have Vijayakumar and Kerala girl Vismaya in lead roles. Sudhakar of 'Madras Central' fame will also be playing an important role in the film which will have Govind Vasantha of '96' fame as its music director.

The shooting will commence in Thenkasi today. The source reveals that the makers plan to shoot the entire film at one stretch and wrap up by the end of October or early November 2018. The entire film will be shot in and around Kutralam,

Like 'Uriyadi', Vijayakumar will deliver a social message in a hard-hitting manner with his second film.
